Our Story

We started Custom Apparels Startups because while we were helping people with the right equipment and training – there was a real need for help in other areas like Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Graphics, Customer Service – all the things that are part of a successful business outside of the equipment used to make the products.

ColDesi and all of our people, companies, brands, and friends in the custom apparel industry are committed to helping you succeed in any way we can. Custom Apparel Startups is an important part of that!

In our more than 50 years in business, we’ve helped 20,000+ people get started in or expand their custom apparel businesses.

Between 125,000 and 200,000 custom t-shirts are printed using our direct to garment printers EVERY MONTH.

That’s approximately $1,600,000 in gross profit that is injected into our customers’ pockets every 30 days.

Mark & Marc

Mark Stephenson – Director of Marketing, ColDesi, Inc.

Mark has been involved in Sales and Marketing for more than 30 years and has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and small business owner. He has created and managed dozens of websites, which currently include all of the ColDesi online properties. Mark’s most recent successes in online marketing include the launching of the InTouch: Live Online Demonstration series, which allows people to log in and view product demonstrations from their home or office, and 30 Minutes of Marketing webinars that teach online marketing techniques to the apparel decorating industry.

Marc Vila – Director of Business Development, Colman and Company

Marc has worked in sales and marketing since 2003 with experience in outsource management, finance, decorated apparel, commercial equipment, and supplies. He entered the apparel business in 2008 in equipment sales for embroidery, garment printing, and rhinestones. His current role at Colman and Company is managing the sales team, internet marketing, email marketing and general business development.
